Not breaking balls but I hope you are aware that he is seating the bead and not actually inflating the tire. I'm certain that people will warn you not to for some reasons but I know allot of people who do and it does save time and energy digging out tire tools to seat it by hand while out on the trail. Done it a few times myself and other than reminding people to remove the valve stem core first it's pretty self explanatory.

 

why do you remove the valve stem core first? is to release excess pressure from the reseating?

 

Reduces the possibility of actually destroying the tire via the explosion. For me, keeping it in the valve stem tool ready to go did the trick every time.

 

tried this today and couldnt get it to work, it was neat though!
