Tell me what you guys think about this pickup. It seems to be in pretty good condition and might go check it out and just wanted to know what other people thought

Looks pretty nice to me. I would definitely go look at it, and take a friend with you that knows anything about mechanics(if you don't). Those older toyota's are almost indestructible, and the exterior/interior look great. Plus, it's running 35"s. I would test drive it, and take hard turns, anything to check for any kind of rub.
I would say $5k, just to say you haggled. He's a toyota guy, maybe a break somewhere.

Yeah I would bring my friend with me. He's got a 94 pickup (my display pic) and knows a lot about them. I think i'll go look at it maybe this weekend and offer around 5k and we'll see what happens!

looks to be in good shape, how many miles are on it? also ask for receipts for all those new parts installed.

looks like its a body lift on there, not nearly as good as a suspension lift, but its up to you.

I could be wrong on this, but i know the 4runners of that era with the 3.0 went through head gaskets every 100k or so. i think that its the same 3.0 in the pickups, so that might be something to think about/look into more.

overall if you can pick it up for $5k i would say its a decent deal.

x2, manual trannys dont typically wear out before the engine, especially the POS 3.0L. Also He didn't mention regearing for the 35's.

yeah about the tranny ask that question... look under the truck look for dents and big scratches to see if its been taken off road and been abused

i think its a decent deal....
