265x70r17. Skid plate tube steps

To engage auto LSD or too not... Does anybody think it's better to commute with this on? Manual states with this on it automatically applies brake pressure when towing to prevent sway. I don't tow anything with my 2.7 prerunner but I frequently commute in 25+mph wind and iget tossed around pretty good on the freewa.
