I stumbled upon this website gfchips.com saying something about a performance chip kit for the Tacoma. Apparently this chip gives you up to 60hsp extra, an extra 4-7 miles per gallon, lowers emissions by 25-40%, and can be installed by pretty much anyone. First of all, does something like this really work or would I be risking messing up the computer system it currently has?? A friend of mine had a chip installed on his Harley Davidson F150 and it went pretty much down hill from there. I'm not sure if it was this same one though. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

There isn't any chip that will do what it claims when it comes to giving you HP/TQ. Don't waste your money, save up for a super charger if you want power.
