    Understood to keep on when driving in limited visibility, however why keep these on and blind me when streets are lip up? Cars already have brighter headlamps than cars from 15-20 years ago and to use them in combination when there is no reason to is simply inexcusable. I have hi-beams; since I "have" them might as well use them. (How does that sound?)

    I agree with Robm7. Driving is a privilege. Along with that privilege comes certain expectations of courtesy. There is a time and a place for using your fog lights.

    I only use them when I need them, however I do leave them on by accident sometimes, because I need a little indicator light to tell I have the freaking things on and I forget that I have them on

    I think leaving fogs or headlights on is good for safety reasons in any condition. If people can see your lights then people are aware your are there.

    I mean they have signs in the middle of nowhere to put headlights on so people can see you.
