Who has the most miles on their truck?

This has probably been done, so don't beat me up if so (I searched by the way) but...

I was inspired to start this when I read this article...

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/07/09/n...1800s-w-video/

Guy is about to roll 3,000,000 on his Volvo P1800 that he bought in 1966.

So...

Who has the most miles on their Tacoma? Post your mileage and a pic of your truck to see how she's showing or hiding her age.

85,000 for me.

wow, Awesome guys, looks like you all been taking care of your Tacoma....then again it's a Toyota....At the time I sold my 01 Tacoma had 103K miles....been w/o a Truck for a year and recently bought a 2011 TX Pro.

Question for you all. What Oil are you guys using? I'm just not sold on Synthetic yet and b/c of the cost. For my old 01, just used Convention Mobil Oil and never had a problem, but I welcome suggestions. Also change the Tranny fluid every oil chane, only the 4 or 5qts in the Reservoir. Probably not needed and overkill, but I keep my vehicles forever usually.

Cheers,
Lloy

I used to use synthetic in previous cars but would go twice as long b/ oil changes. Then I went back to conventional because I like just having everything else checked more often. I do oil changes about every 5K miles...I don't buy into the needing it every 3K. No modern car recommends every 3K. Oil does not break down that quickly.

I tried to get them to do tranny fluid last time I had oil changed and they said they do not carry the proper fluid. Do you use dealer?

I rarely go to the dealer, except for Recalls or if something major that I would rather have them do, but I've been lucky and have found someone in the past that did my timing, waterpump, (all SEALS around that are). The rest of the stuff, like oil, tranny, tune-up, and fon't brakes, radiator I've done myself and have saved quite a bit of $$$$ doing that. My old 01 has never had a problem.....
