How many miles do you have on your truck?

We are looking into buying a used Toyota pickup (probably somewhere between a 92 and a 96). We are just curious to know how many miles these trucks will go before they die. Any info you can share will be much appreciated.
Thank you!

I had a 96 bought at 62 k miles and traded it in at 111k or so. Had to have the starter rebuilt, and a new battery, only other issues were user inflicted, great vehicle.

I bought my 96 Tacoma SX 2.7 5 Speed 4 X 4 new and when Toyota bought it back due to the frame rust issue it had 327,899 miles on it. I replaced a starter and put 1 clutch in it, it still had the factory exhaust on it and was running strong. I ran Castol Syntec in it exclusively.

My co-worker has 1995 Tocama extra cab, 4-cyl. 2.7, 5 speed 4WD with 334,000 miles. He has never replaced the back rear brake shoes, timing chain, water pump, alternater, oil pump, fuel pump, any hoses, ball joints, wheel bearings, gear oil, differintial fluid, muffler, tailpipe, never flushed the radiator, never used any additivess in the fuel. He claims that driveing the truck every day keeps everything working. He called Toyota to see if they were interested and they told him that his experience was not uncommon. The motor runs smooth and quiet. The interior has no rattles, everything is tight. He changes the oil every 5000 miles. He wants to buy a new truck but he says this truck is still too good to discard. I drove Nissans in the past. He is an honest fellow and because of his Toyota's performance, I now drive a 2005 Tacoma myself.

I have just over 56,000 on my 05 (11,000 since August) and am hoping this will go at least 250,000. I mean I had two Dodges previously and each one had over 150,000 so this Taco should surpass that by a long shot.

216,000 on my 96'. The 2rZ-Fe and 3rz-Fe 4 cylinder engines from this generation are indestructible and very easy to work on. I did a compression check on mine recently. Its still within factory specs, thus it could probably go another 200,000 miles. There's one guy on here with over 400,000 on his. The parts are also pretty cheap and widely available. Here's what mine looks like under the hood after 216,000 miles.
