I like the way the 2nd gen tundra looks, 1GR putting out 300+ hp would be impressive.

^I drove a rental F150 crew cab last year. It had a 3.7L V6 that made over 300 hp. Still drove like a pig due to the weight.

Should have gotten an FJ then. The styling will remain constant until the model is discontinued.

I am eager to see what it will look like.
Whenever the taco redesign comes out, they better do it right.

and honestly if that second one is it, doesn't look half bad. But you can't really tell from such a closeup.

looks like they are going the way of everyone else these days and putting those little LED running lights in under the headlights...why does everyone do that these days?

I have a feeling this will be like the 2012 tacoma's or anything else, it'll take awhile to grow on people

Changing it up on the DRL design.

When DRLs came out, they reduced accidents.
    People got used to them.
    They changed them to yellow.
People are getting used to them.
They're changing them to LED strips.

    My exact same thought.

Everything I've seen so far suggests this thing is going to be a disaster appearance wise, but you can never tell for sure until the camo comes off.

Personally though, that grille and headlight closeup makes it look like Toyota thought the 2gen Tundra wasn't big and angry enough. Great. It's already absurdly overbloated. It doesn't need to be bloated-er.

Also: Surprised Toyota is revealing this early. Would worry it'll cannibalize some Tundra sales with people holding out for '14.
