And some close ups of the smaller mods on the exterior. They decked each of these with Rigid Lights on the bumper, roof rack, and a Warn Winch (Which was sitting in the back of each inside).

My guess is as good as yours. We downloaded 3 C-17's worth of these Land Cruisers. My best guess, is they're being used by certain units in the Army or Private Contractors that work off base a lot. They were terminating at my base, so that's really the only logical explanation that I can think of. I was always asking who comes and takes them.

Sorta surprising that they are 5 lug. I would've deff thought 6 lug.

Edit: on second thought I guess alot of the newer toyota a are 5 lug.

Yeah. That's all stock configuration for these. Even the non-armored and civilian Land Cruisers had 5.

^Any idea how much these vehicles weigh with all the armoring?

Land Cruiser started using 5 lugs (but with 15mm instead of 12mm studs) in 1998. The Tundra and Sequoia switched to the same bolt pattern in 2007.

Note the 6-lug bolt pattern goes way back to the Toyota BJ25 Bantam Jeep clone:

Yes. They weighed 10,070 pounds with everything.

Great thread so far! That is some impressive weight for such a small truck, about the same as my Dad's big 3/4 ton Duramax weighs. They must be diesel, that would be some serious weight for even the V6 to pull around I'd think.

We had a toyota hilux in Iraq. We also had a ford explorer, a ford f150, and a range rover defender right at the end of the deployment

Here's the power output for them. A lot of them were usually regular gasoline engines. The HiLux's were almost always a diesel.

^Interesting, so the Hilux's hood skewp is functional. I think the Hilux 4x4 is offered only with a diesel is many parts of the world (notable exception being Australia). Even the Arctic Trucks polar expedition trucks are diesel engined, converted to run Jet-A.

Seriously, the cargo yard was starting to look like a Toyota/Oshkosh Dealership.

If you're not trying to be negative, then why say anything at all? We're here for the trucks, not the government.
