What seats did you get? How was the fit/install?

I have a set of bucket seats for a 97 4runner (Blue cloth). I'm in NW GA for 100.00. If they will work on something.

I traded the bench in my 2006 reg cab for the buckets from an 07 doublecab. I'd love to trade back to the bench though.

The 2007 buckets I have are in very good condition.

Anyone with a bench wanting buckets within a days' drive of Oklahoma, let me know and we can work something out. I'll do an even swap for a bench. It'll take 60-90 minutes, and it's pretty easy, though we'll probably need to trade seat belts as well.

You guys looking for bucket seats do realize that you can just go buy any seats you want from Corbeau or Recaro etc and buy their seat rails and they will bolt right in ? Only other thing you need on a second gen is an occupant sensor bypass module for the airbag system which is also cheap and easy to install.

I'd love to see a link for the 'cheap and easy to install' bypass mod.

Metal Tech Oof Road sells a bypass unit and they have a PDF posted for it. It is technically for an FJ but it is the same thing, here is the guy that makes and sells them. Shoot him an e-mail and tell him exactly what year truck and which seats you are eliminating, it is only $60 shipped :

    scott.mcclure@charter.net

You literally just unplug all of the harnesses from the bottom of the seat and they plug into the bypass module. Mine has an on/off switch for the passenger airbag as well.
