    Stock for now
Want to get new shocks for my 88 4x4 pickup but have no idea what to get. I have been reading about skyjacker, Procomp, Monroe, etc and frankly im confused. 80% of my driving is in country/trail roads. Im thinking on the ES9000 pro comp. Any suggestions?

I'm still new to the yota game, only have had mine for about 8 months. I had to replace mine about 6 months back and went with Bilsteins HDs. They are quality pieces (I also have those on my mustang cobra and they are great). I haven't tried any others but I sure went with the best option for a stock suspension pickup. They ride well but a bit stiff on the road. They seem to feel softer off road.

Hope that helps. Also, the monroes and gabriels are good for street DD use. Not so much off road though.
