Supercharger noise?

    98' Tacoma v-6 supercharged prerunner
    I have a 1998 toyota Tacoma prerunner that is supercharged from the factory and when i am sitting still and it is in gear the supercharger makes a rattling or knocking noise? What could that be?

    so what does the rebuild consist of what do i need to do it do you kow? it cant be very hard at all...

    From what I have heard, there are no rebuild kits, and the bearings are factory installed. The unit must be removed and sent to Mangunson for the rebuild. They are the ones that build the SC for TRD.
