    you leave it in neutral and pull e break or leave it in 1st?

    mines in neutral with no e brake. my yards is pretty level

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    Reverse into spot, put in neutral, pull the brake, put in 1st. It's a habit.

    my brake isnt really strong so i normally dont put it on

    Reverse and e brake . Reverse is usually the lowest gear within the transmission and less chances of rolling the truck when the motor is off . First gear and e brake is also a good choice depending on the transmission ratio . Have seen guys leave large trucks in 5th gear with e brake on and the truck will roll if on a small incline.
    If you are parked on a roadway , point the front tires in the direction of the curb . This way if the truck does roll ,it will roll until it hits the curb and stop or simply go into the ditch . If tires are pointed out and someone hits you from behind , the truck will roll into oncoming traffic
