I finally have my 81 truck basically done, and now working out the bugs, so wanted to share some pics. Its a 81 with roll cage bed, motor is a rebuilt (with minor work) 22re, 5 speed, 4:30 single t-case, 5;29's with ARB's, built front axle, 37" grooved Baja's, recentered 24 bolt military bead locks. custom paint, and much much more.

I got the complete wiring harness with the motor. Running just what needed for motor, no emissions and such. My buddy did most of it, so splicing the harnesses together was a good weekend day for us

Here little better. I actually took it off. My buddy made the mount, its to tall for me (almost baja style) redoing it to stick near top of window and little more out of harms way. I hope!

the inside is already caged, tied to the frame and comes out the top of cab to the bed cage. I will probably never cage the outside. There very useful, but im not a throttle down and see what happens, i like to pick lines that require more thinking and placement. but if the line requires damage oh well. Its built for one purpose.
