i was looking into doing a turbo on my v6, but after seeing the v8 in there i want to look into doing a swap. my gas mileage on my v6 is bad already, about 15mpg, and a turbo will surely put me down to 12mpg. my buddy in his 5.8l v8 tundra gets 14mpg, so i figure i should get about 14-15mph with the 4.7l

Anyone know how much it would cost to buy a Tundra 4.7 from the factory? I'm assuming you could turbo a couple V6's for the same price. TuRDTACO, didnt you say you were broke? Now you wanna drop a V8 in an already expensive truck?
