I heard a rumor the other day that they are going to release a Taco with the tried and true 4.7 V-8 that has been in the Tundra. Anyone else hear this one?

I suck down enough gas as it is and dont need anything more than the V6. The V8 is a cool idea but i dont want it. If i wanted a V8 i would have gotten the Tundra. Besides, i think making a V8 tacoma will cannibalize tundra sales. they need to focus on making a good diesel for the Tacoma that they can release in the US. a 6cyl diesel preferably :)

I agree, just heard that we could be looking a 4 buck a gallon soon.. barrel price is soaring toward $100 a barrel!!! Don't need to get any less MPGs.

We should start a poll on how much gas is in our area.

    $2.90 in Greenville SC

And last i heard they were predicting $150 per barrel over the next 6 months which would make gas around $5.50 per gallon

$3.39 Central Coast Cali, ouch, I don't usually even pay attention to them though, it doesn't do any good. Besides, I put about 6k miles per year on my truck so I only have to fill up every two weeks or so. :)
$3.59 for me though, cuz I use 91 usually, accept when I travel I use 89 sometimes 87.
