$3.75 and holding just south of Houston. I'm showing my age, but I remember getting pissed cause my first truck (Chevy Sierra) drank $30 in gas a week back in '91.

i *think* theyre around 3.79-3.80 for regular here...but im not really sure...

im in a weird position in that i have a vehicle to drive home every day from work with a gas card...so on that i dont even pay attention to what the price is...i just stop at the places that accept fuelman

with that being said...my truck can go around 2 weeks without NEEDING a fill up and since gas is one of those things that are necessary in this day and age i just fill up and pay the man...sure it hurts to pay 60-70 for a tank but unfortunately it has to be done...i havent altered the amount i drive nor the places i drive to...however i have altered my driving style immensely...i rarely ever get over 65 mph and im really slow starting from a stop and i coast as much as possible to a stop light or sign...in effect the way i drive is like driving with an egg between my foot and the pedal...

this style of driving takes some getting used to but it helps out

I wish! If I did that every tree hugger in cali would be protesting (when they aren't getting high)..... I say again, hippies should be rounded up and shipped to cuba. Here is the letter we could attach!

Mr. Castro,

We North Americans would like to offer a gross of worthless hippies as a gesture of good will. Please feel free to share them with your deadbeat freinds in Central and South America, but they are non-returnable!

Warmest Regards,
The folks in the good ol USA

EDIT: we must include nancy pelosi (sp) and gavin newsome!

Don't do it!!!!!....

Damn.. Just went to Costco this morning and figured I would 'top off the tank".. $4.02/gal regular.. On the way home, saw a mini-mart that was at $3.98.. so much for Costco being the cheapest place for gas..

I may need to ask my boss for a raise as even though I work 7 mi. from work, it cost me close to $4 just to get to work.... fat chance...state worker... (Sorry for those of you who work farher away from home...)..
The Bus was my "pre-driving" mode of transportation.. Not doing that again!!!
