    It's kind of a mini poll.

    What are gas prices in your area?
    Yesterday here $2.89 (cheap stuff)

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    same here in fayetteville, nc...but when i go back to sc, its usually about 10-15 cent cheaper

    And last i heard they were predicting $150 per barrel over the next 6 months which would make gas around $5.50 per gallon

    Keep in mind that if it was inflation adjusted to its highest prices in the early 80's we are finally in the right spot. However, given that supply is much higher than many reports are suggesting the commodities market could potentially see a correction. Gold is also nearing all time highs.

    Oil could very easily drop dramatically if 2-3 geo-political things occur.
    Based on current supply & demand figured it should still be in the high 60s to lower 70s. (based on what I have read)

    $2.69 at Sunoco at Rt #17 in South Jersey as of 7:00 PM 11-12-2007.

    Jersey has the lowest gas tax, hence the cheaper price....

    On the news this evening they showed some place in California where they purchased 15 gallons for $74. Ouch!!
