What do you guys think of the new Tundra commercials?

Ya know, the ones that have the truck stopping before falling off of a cliff, or driving through giant I-Beam pendulums?

Everything I research say its non-computer enhanced or edited... and that it is actual professional drivers.

    I personally love the commercials.

I also read Toyota truck sales are up 58% while other companies like Ford and so on are down by 1 - 12%.

I like the commercials but had my doubts about them! I was going to buy the Tundra until I stood next to one on the lot and saw how hugh these things were so I settled for the 08 Accs Cab 4x4 TuRD Sport. I'm very happy with it:D

I would like to own one someday... but yeah... huge trucks make them hard to get around in town sometimes....

I have been told that it is all factual. They did have several safety measures in place, but they did not use any of them.

I didn't believe them until I talked to the Toyota rep about the Tundra Diesel for 2009, and I gave him a hard time about how unbelieveable they are. He said - believe them.

Supposedly, there is a video on the internet that shows the making of the one with the stop before the cliff. I haven't seen it yet.

I saw that video.... I mean it makes it look as if its all real... still video though. I want to believe them haha.

I just remembered reading an article that says they generate a computer model to run tests on it - then make an 8ft scale model to work all the bugs out.

    Either way they are impressive!

    I want one haha
