    Hey everyone,

I have a stock 2004 Tacoma Prerunner TRD Extra Cab that I am finally putting a new set of tires on. It came stock with BFG 265/70/16 tires. I wanted to get something a little more aggressive I saw at Walmart the other day, Good Year Wrangler Authority. I know these are specially made for Walmart, but they sure look good. They don't have them in 265/70/16, they do have them in 265/75/16. When I put the tire up against the stock ones they were considerably taller and looked like they might rub against the mud flap on the fronts when I turned the wheel fully. Has anyone had any experience with these on a 1st gen Tacoma? I think I can get them in 245/75/16 which is almost the same total diameter, but is that going to look silly and too narrow? Any help is greatly appreciated. I've attached a pic of what my truck looks like now.

My 1st genereation Tacoma (1999) came with 265/75/R15's. I never had a problem with rubbing.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
First gen's came with 31 10.5 R15. They are basically the same size tire. You will be fine

So, what is the largest tire that I can put on a 99 prerunner?
