Can some one tell me what hooks to this? Also wried miss after motor swap

Well i broke down and took it to my local shop they fixed it with in hours must had been something simple causeing it to miss cause i looked at it and noticed they put a hose clamp on the air intake pipe and ground the motor to the chassie and fixed my exchust leak which was the gasket i paid $30 for one and put it on and it didnt work i dont guess so they had to buy another one. but all in all it costed me $119 but everything works now on it and runs pretty good it dose smoke some like a graish/black smoke which i think its something with fuel but im going to just run a pipe from the auxillary to the intake box so it wont be sucking in drit and mud sence it seems to run fine with out it

btw what is the porpuse of the auxillary unit?
