Like the title says, What is the future of your truck? Iam thinking about tradeing in my truck for newly designed tacoma. I like the look of the new 4runner so Iam anxiously waiting to see what the new tacoma will look like. I read in "4WD Toyota Owner" That the 2010 FJ cruiser features several upgrades that includes dual VVT-i and roller rocker arms on the 4.0L V6 which adds 19HP and 1 MPG increase. Will this be the same on the new tacoma?

What I'm going to do is drive my '99 into the ocean, park it there for a week, then bring it to the dealer and get my money :D

    Or resell it...whichever comes first.

Too early to really ask IMO seeing as we're still a couple years out at least from a new Taco. I just got mine this summer so I'll have it for awhile. It's paid off and I hope to keep it til I can afford to pay cash for a new truck again. I'd like to get 7 years out of this though at least.

I'm keeping mine as my daily driver until I get enough money for a car. Then gonna make my truck into more of a trail rig.

Dude, I drove a Stratus base model for 13 years and 176,000 miles. For 5 of those years it had no A/C (in Texas) and the radio amp was blown. I'll be in this awesome rig until the wheels fall off more than once.

    Lots.
Really love my tacoma and going to keep it for a long time but I think I have hit the wall on the things I want to do to it without going F/I so when I turn 21 or older I might jump into...

Probably with the Tacoma redisign in 2013. But there is no guarantee. And who knows they may have something better planned for the Tacoma.
