Trans stop working

    9'' lift
    I went 4x4 today and after i climbed a hill my transmission didn't want to go into reverse and it takes long to shift gears in drive? Can someone please tell me whats going on befor i spend money...:confused: Automatic 4.0 V6, 2006 Tacoma.

    well i think the first thing to do would be to show us picturees of your beast! :D
    Also are you manuel or automatic your clutch could be going out or have low clutch fluid if you manuel

    its a automatic. I can't figure out what went wrong?

    Whatta ya mean by..."doesn't wanna go into reverse"?

    Did you have difficulty getting the shifter into reverse?

    Or

    You got the shifter in reverse and the truck wouldn't move in reverse?

    Are you still under warrantee? Drivetrain warrantee goes for like 6 years (don't quote me on that)

    It goes in reverse but doesnt move? and in drive it slips and takes long to shift?
