Yeah, its a cool idea and a nice job converting it for sure, but it just looks like @ss overall IMO.

Kinda reminds me of the 1st gen 4runner... but still I wouldn't own one like that.

I saw one two days ago, and I promise you those pictures you guys see make it look better than it really is. Looks horrible in person. When the top is down it looks ok. Nevertheless, you can tell the work was well done. I think if the rear part of the top was square with the truck rather than caving in it would look sick.

+1. The proportions just don't look right with the top up.

That's frigin awesome!! (the concept anyway)

It's about damn time someone made a new FJ to be more like the old FJ.

Toyota bastardized the FJ name-sake by making it a psudo (fully enclosed) SUV.

the leading minor of order 1 is not positive definite.
when i first ever saw the fj i thought they were convertibles. thought finally, something besides jeep (or defender). but nope. these customs ones might be fun to rent for a day but i'd never want to own it. i'm interested to see what the next gen fj will look like. hey, anybody ever seen a custom convertible taco? now that would be sweet.
