    Winters in Newfoundland, Canada are hell! 4x2 would be a major head ache for me.

    bahamas should be ok, but the east coast US beaches have terrible water.

    I've owned a few 4x4's over the years. I live in a mountain/desert environment with snow in the winter. I enjoy going offroading. I'm not into hardcore stuff...mainly just jeep trails. I guess my first 4wd came after getting stuck a couple times in the middle of nowhere in a 2wd back in the late 70's....hasn't happened since and hopefully never will!
