My parents are looking at a new vehicle to replace the jeep. They have been looking at the Honda CRV and Pilot and have started looking at the Toyota lineup. After getting over the initial 44k sticker shock they have started looking at the 4runner again. Does anyone on here have one, or know anyone who does? Has anyone used the nav system, and how does the 4runner ride overall. My dad likes the FJ but is concerned with some of the large blind spots it has. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Try a search for the new 4Runner on here. I have seen a few members post about their new ride (whether a trade in or buying something for the wife). Either way, the 4Runner is a true body on frame SUV. It's not a crossover. Had the opportunity to drive one and I do love it. That sticker shock is more than likely the Loaded Limited! :D Those are sweet. 4Runners offer much more than the Pilot. It depends if they are looking for pure luxury or off-road capability. Either way, those two are great rides - just not as keen on the new Pilot. Good luck.

    Why the Limited?

Currently there are 3 different trim levels for the 4Runner, SR5. Trail Edition and the Limited.

I picked up a Trail Edition and it's pretty sweet.

It seems to have the options they want. Maybe with the holiday weekend they can find something.

Oh and I forgot to mention about your 4runner...
