    Fellas,
I'm about to purchase a new Double Cab TRD Sport from the dealer and they are offering a Leer Canopy for $1500 that i am seriously considering.

Does anyone know anything about the dealer canopies? Are they worth it? Am I getting ripped off?

    Thank you,
    ed

They are probly getting them from the Leer dealer at a discounted price and making a bit selling to you. I would say you would pay a similiar price if you went to the Leer dealer. I dont know about the states but a Leer canopy here for $1500 sounds like a great deal!

    good luck!

5100's set at .85,eibachs, LR uca's, toytec 1.5" aal, ride rite bags, receiver hitch, ARE cap with bedrug, Thule rack, wet-okole cover, ultragauge, kenwood dnx5180 navi/receiver, ss rubi404 running factory doors and JL8
It depends on what model the dealer is offering and what options come with the cap. Try to get this info from the dealer, then do a bit of comparison shopping to determine if it is worth it. Leer is a great cap though.

Good point. I mailed the dealer to find the model # and I'll do that.
Thank you for the input though, i appreciate it.

That's a fair price for a new one.
Used are dirt cheap, but hit and miss on described condition accuracy.

My Snug was the next up from the bottom. Got the reinforced roof, fabric liner, and "over-the-rail", but standard side sliders and rear door, solid front window... it was about $1500 OTD installed.

Mine was ARE & it had a single handle frame less glass door on the back. The front window slid open. I'd prefer a tilt instead so you can clean the glass & if you use it for work you might consider side windows that open out as well verses slide open or not. There are a lot of options although the price from the dealership is about right for a color matched topper.
