ohhhh good idea thanks! If my friend and I split the cost it should save us some money!!! :D

Good idea.. thanks! Although I am only towing a small uhaul and I am used to towing my horse trailer so it should not be nearly as much of a challenge as what you dealt with!

hey welcome to the area! (soon) hahaha

i work for the city of mpk so i'll be seeing your around. job openings for the city are displayed at the counter in front of the HR's desk, the city is going to shit right now so it almost impossible to get a job for the city unless you are looking to be a piece of bacon or firefighter.

but there are other things in the area, good luck!

    as for living...

houses in MPK sell for no less than $600,000. houses for rent around $1200- $1500 a month, and to rent a 1 bed 1 bath apartment $850ish a month for a crappy one with horrible management or $950ish a month for a fair cleaner one.

in fact i know of one for $975 that has been fully restored 1 bed 1 bath new carpet, fresh paint, new kitchen counter top/sink, the bathroom has been redone new tub/shower toilet, cabinet, sink and counter top. your own parking spot, your own trash cans. 2 blocks away from the community college that's all i know from looking round it. the address is 1141 w. collegeview dr. monterey park ca 91754 the number on the sign is 3237267538

Hey thats great! Aaron and I are looking to move in together with my current roommate that is making the drive with me now so he is looking at a 2br in MPK for 14K a month which is not too bad.. its a nice little house on a corner lot with a 2 car garage and driveway and yard.. i hope it goes through that would be perfect!!! If my roommate backs out for some reason I will def. look at that one br you are talking about! :D

As for jobs I am applying for everything.... I have 6 or so years exp in customer service so hopefully I will get something.. Actaully got an email back from a Toyota dealership. I hope that one comes through for me, even if it does not pay much it's a start.

Cant see youtube from work :(

WOOT! Im pretty excited but need to let the anxiety quiet down a bit

    :D:D

    Thanks Jay!!
I will be back! When I come back I will try to set up a meet or something but I wont have my truck out here anymore! :(

Arches and Zion are WAY out of the way, especially since you don't even list Utah as in your route.

Monterey Park is essentially LA. What sort of work?

    I've done CO-VA and VA-CA.
Energy drinks and good music. Really helps having a good passenger. Tool kit, fuel, water, cooler of food, and stuff to sleep in the truck (if you're doing it alone). Be comfortable like sweats and what not. Stop when you need to and stretch/do some exercises. Give the right away to semis or be a good driver. When they turn their signal on to get over, slow down, let em in and flicker your lights so they know. If they pass you flicker your lights once they're clear so they know they can get over. CB would be good too incase you break down and have no signal atleast you could hopefully hail a truck. Good luck and be safe. :woot: for you and Aaron
