I plan on moving to CA by the end of this month if anyone has any tips or know of any job openings in LA or time to help me move in (Monterey Park, LA) let me know! :D

    Thanks!

edit: I will be driving through VA, NC, TN, AR, OK, TX, NM, CO, UT, AZ, NV and to CA

I plan on stopping to see Zion National Park, Arches National Park, the Appalachian Mountains, the Rocky Mountains, Las Vegas, and the Grand Canyon (not necessarily in that order)

Never drove cross the country so dont have any real "tips"

Im assuming you have already mapped out the route, and make sure you have your truck all serviced up (all fuilds topped off, check air pressure, ect..)

Drive safe and take lots of photos!

    O also make sure!!!

Your spare is in good shape and your tools to change it are not impossible to get to and if you want to be safe carry a gas can..... with gas in it lol

If you speed make sure you are using a radar detector but remember if I cop pulls you over and he see's it, he probably wont let you go with a warning

Great advice! I did think about my spare... I need to make sure it is on a wheel, not sure if I got that taken care of when I went to bigger tires or not.. so I will have to look into that..

    Gas can is genius! Thanks!

I won't be speeding much if at all, it wastes gas and I will be pulling a Uhaul

    Thanks JD!!! :D

Humor me when I want to go to Lucerne every weekend for a while please LOL :p

I made a similar move last year. New Orleans to San Francisco. The best advice I can give you is to avoid large cities. Took some time but I was driving a moving truck and towing my Tacoma behind it and people do not move out of your way!
