Being as I seem to have been visiting them quite often, for ine reason or another, This should keep me busy, as I am yet again, in one.

    SO, To begin:

    Arizona Heart Hospital
1930 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ (602) 532-1000
The Heart Hospital was recently purchased by Abrazio Health care. They are one of the best Heart Hospitals in the country, and THE best in Arizona. The Staff is friendly, and the Drs. top notch. While the medical equipment is top notch, things like Chairs, are not. Metal folding chairs are the norm, and each room is allowed 1 for visitors. The food at this Hospital is the worst I have ever tasted. I actually considered eating the plastic display food instead. The toast they offer is fine, but the toasters they use, only accept half of the toast. I think the toaster was built by midgets....

    Response time.
This hospital staff has some of the BEST response times I have seen. They are truley Pros! The calmness, and care puts patience and visitors at ease. A Helo pad is on the roof, and directly above a large OR.

Someone screwed up, and built a resort, but staffed it with Drs., Nurses, etc. This place is NICE! Semi private waiting rooms, with HD TV's. fast WiFi, power outlets all over the place! AND FREE GOURMET COFFEE!! The place has a friendly calm about it, and the staff seems very helpfull, caring, and friendly. The food smells fantastic! I will be testing it shortly.
    Food Update:
The Food is the best I have had at a Hospital. THe "Starbucks" coffee, while very good, clearly isnt Starbucks. Everyone here is so friendly! Even the Security smiled at me!

I went to the ER at this place in Aug. These guys MOVE! Check in was blistering quick! From the time of arival, to CT scan, was about 20 mins. The food is quite good, depending on what you order. If you order something cooked, its good. If you order some fruit, or salad, you arent going to like it. The Nursing staff is among the best. The Drs. all are about teh most narcissistic I have seen. They are more at home telling each other how good they are, rather than talking to familly, or patients. If you want to see a row of cars straight from a Top Gear season, go no further than the Dr. parking lot at this place. The WiFi sucks. BUT, The care is good. Aside from the Drs. trying to talk to you like your a retard, they DO take good care of folks in need.

This place is JUST like a Circus! The Staff has their handsfull at this place. The ER team doesnt talk much, but they are quick to deal with Emergency treatment. The Drs. arent very good at stitching wounds, but they can cast an arm like a Rosie Odonnel can eat a donut! This is my "Go To" Er for easilly treated wounds. Havent tested the food yet.

This is a good Hospital. Have gone there multiple times. Their staff is very caring, and professional. The Drs. can stitch a wound with the best! The food is "so so". Seems to very day to day. Being as tehy are downtown Phoenix, they can get all ranges of injuries. So, Treatment times very horribly. Example:
I went in for a black widow bite, and was being treated within 15 mins. Another time, I went in with a cracked hip, and had to wait 3 hours. Also went in for a head injury, But I dont remember that experiance too well.

Happy Friendly Staff! Good care, and decent food. WiFi sucks. Waiting area is pretty bland, but there are alot of things to do nearby. Interestingly enough, I have yet to be treated at this hospital.

Sacramento is lucky. Most big cities have an abundance of hospitals, but only 1 or 2 trauma. Sacramento has 3 trauma hospitals for a basic amount of people.

If you live in Folsom, do NOT go to Mercy General in Folsom. My Dad had a stroke, and they pumped him full of so many drugs that he was unconscious for about 5 hours. The doctor came in after about 4 hours, and said that they've had a lot of flu cases this year, and he thinks its the flu. He then has the nurses convince my step-mom to sign the release forms. SENDS HOME A STROKE PATIENT SAYING ITS THE FLU.

UC Davis and Sutter Roseville are both great hospitals though.

I had the opertunity to go to this hospital 2 times, in a 5 hour period. These guys handle repete customers very well! They act VERY quickly when you walk into the ER with a finger attached only with a little skin. They treat dog bites, and car accidents perfectly! They have been refered to as one of 3 hospitals in "The trio of Death", however, I have no experiance with that. Every time I have gone there, I have left very much alive. The Gift shop has stupid high prices, and the cafateria has below average food. The Burgers are acceptable however. The Drs. seem to be about average in stictching wounds, and they can get carried away with the novacaine, but that may not be a bad thing. Also, There is a Burger King right accross the street, so you can get a decent meal if visiting someone.
