Taking my kiddo to the BIG D for a vacation this summer. Probably around the 3rd week of June.

Going to Six Flags a couple of days of course!

Also going to a Ranger's game, Zero Gravity to do some bungie jumping, gotta eat at Mideval Times....never been to one.

    My questions are:
What else is there??? He's 12 so make sure it's pre teen friendly LOL

Any microbrewereies/gastropubs that are a have to stop at?

Any tips for the Ranger's? Discounted tickets??
Went to a game in 91 but that was the old stadium....cheap seats. I'm thinking 1st base line.....just past the dug out....maybe 6 or 7 rows back??

Be staying at a hotel across the freeway from Six Flags so we can just catch the trolly to the game and Six Flags...save some parking $$$$. Haven't picked one yet though.

You would probably get more responses if you link this in the Texas BS thread or post it in the Texas section.

hurricane harbor too i hope since it's summer, quick search of ticketmaster saw that van halen is playing in mid june haha, fort worth zoo was cool, stockyards, dallas aquarium was meh, downtown dallas for the historic parts like where JFK stuff happened. and west end, stick to the daylight here though especially with a 12yr old, no need for loud music around a kid, arboretum is nice scenery, a few museums if you're into it, off road trails apparently around the outskirts too haha

It's probably going to be hot as hell in June so Hurricane Harbor would be a great idea.
