So what's the hubub? If you get it checked again with a negative result, will that settle your worries?

So finally getting to somewhere where I can upload pics.

I drove up to Bellingham after Mt. St. Helens and met up with Jake who took me up in the mountains not too terribly far from his house. We spent about 3 hours fooling around on the trails up there, and we came back down and he asked if he could tag along on my leg to Montana. I said sure and while he finished getting his bed rack mounted, I finished installing my CB (basically I just had to route the power cables so it wasn't jerry rigged). After that we mounted his RTT, and he packed, and we headed down to Olympia where I picked up a soft topper for 350. It was nice because we, being geniuses, decided just to sleep at a rest stop, him in his tent, me in my bed with sleeping bags. At 745 when we woke up, it was 25 degrees and we regretted the decision terribly.

We made it to Missoula Mt that evening where we met up with a friend of mine who served with me in Iraq, and we had some fantastic pizza. If you're ever in Missoula, go to BIGA PIZZA. It'll change your life. The next day, we made it to Bozeman via Wild Horse National Monument, where we got a bit more trail running in.

We stopped at Rissler Toyota to get my truck serviced - another alignment and the traction control warning light was constant, only to find out that the camber tabs were crushed and I might have frame damage due to the misaligned body panels and hood gaps and what not. They were swamped and wouldn't have been able to get me in until monday, but with me having to be on the road, one of the service techs called in a favor with a friend who owned a shop, and we dropped it off and headed for some local hills in Jake's rig versus waiting.

Got the call, and 104$ later I was back on the road. I made it to Minneapolis the next day for dinner with a Marine buddy and then I hot footed it to Ohio today because I am kinda worried about the frame and I have time and plans here that will allow me time to get it taken care of.

Nooksack River and Toboggan Mountain (maybe) with Jake.

I've got to ninja up to Detroit then over to Chicago to see family then I'll be heading south... But I have a nice little break here. I think it will be a good change of pace.

I'm using the TW LIVE so it's kinda slow going since you can only upload 3 at a time, but I'll get there. I still have a few more from WA and on, I've also still got to do a massive cellphone picture dump. I think I am gonna drop the pics from my first road trip in here - or what pics i took on it.

i've been quietly following your travels.

just wanted to chime in and wish you the best luck with the frame. hard to believe you bent it..hopefully it is just some component, not the frame.

    keep us posted.

So after a brief hiatus for family, me and layla are back on the road. no frame damage but some loose body mounts. The canvas topper tore, I got her windshield replaced, I bought some sliders off a TW member not 6 or 9 minutes from my brother's house (just gotta sand em down, weld em on, and rhino line them). Probably swinging by Chicago again to see some family then. Well. We'll see. I've had an invite to go bow hunt in Missouri amongst other things so we shall see.

I can say with aplenty enthusiasm:

Happy birthday to my Fellow Belleau woodsman and women worldwide. Keep taking the fight to the enemy. Semper Fidelis, don't be jealous!!!! 238 never looked so good, Marines and here is to another thousand years of Wrecking the enemies shop!

Thank you and you're welcome. I drove up to Detroit (outskirts) to visit friends yesterday, and I have an idea to get some cool pics that I'm gonna try here in a bit.

I looked at my odometer today and realized that I am just over 15K on the clock so I am presently sitting in Serra Toyota to get the oil changed and tires rotated before I try to find this trail I stumbled across yesterday.
