    After Thanksgiving and before the Christmas crowds. In January, after New years and before Spring break. Not as less crowded as it used to be but after school starts - Late August, September & October.

    Avoid the summer and major holidays if you can.

    Also, avoid three day weekend holidays as they are popular with the not so local Florida residents - Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa etc.

    Avoid summer (too hot and humid) but also busy because of school vacations. Same for spring break. If you do not have kids in school and you can go any time of the year, then spring and fall, outside vacation times like spring break is the best.
