    I'm in Africa (thanks, Army), but my truck (and wife, with the keys) is still in Dallas.

    Because I'm deployed, my timeline is super flexible, though it would probably be easier for the wife if the install was done on a weekend.

    One nice thing about TX is we have 80 and 85 mph posted speed limits, not everywhere, but where it counts. I don't think they have those out east. That 10 mpg might be optimistic running that fast. And we do go that fast and then some.

    If you're still locking in dates, why not aim for Rock Therapy 2015? Heading all the way out here from DC and missing southern UT is like me heading out there and not seeing the National Mall.
    And if you're bound and determined to miss RT'15, then at least on your route back take I70 through UT (come up US93 to Vegas, then I15 to I70). You would be impressed. Even more impressive is if you get off the Big Road and take UT12.
    And if you're in AZ, check out Kofa NWR, and Jerome. But be ready for heat in Kofa.
