New Orleans & Biloxi Vacation?

    My wife & I are planning to go to New Orleans the middle of June and spending 4 nights and then spending a night in Gulfport or Biloxi. Can anyone recommend places to stay? Which has more places to visit and a better beach-Gulfport or Biloxi? I was thinking maybe we could spend the night at a casino, but would like something on the beach.

    Any suggestions on things to do, see, or eat at is also appreciated! We almost decided to go somewhere else because of the BP oil crisis, but want to try & support the economy down there so we're going to make the best of things!

    I'm not sure I'd head down there right now. Then again, I bet they are hurting for business and you can get some good deals.

    yeah, beaches arent good in Biloxi or Gulfport , and I am betting they really arent good right now. I would go on over into FL if it were me and I wanted a beach. However, if you want casinos, the Biloxi is a good place.
