Last Friday night I did something that I thought it would be a long time before I would do. I traded in my 2010 Toyota Tacoma DCSB 4x4 with a 6 speed manual transmission in for a 2013 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Limited 4x4. The deal was too good to pass up. I really do miss my manual transmission.

I'm super late on this thread. I bought my 2010 TRD OF 4x4 5.7Flex back in October. Since then only bought a tonneau cover and got 275/75/18 toyo oc mts for it. Waiting now to get exhaust, intake, and throttle body spacer. Pics soon to come.

Hey fellas, my dad has an 06 tundra 4x4 non trd. He needs to replace his front shocks as his shitty spacer blew one out. can he run the stock trd bilsteins even though his truck isnt a trd. Im sure he can just wanna double check. im also tryin to convince him to get rid of the spacer and go with 5100s to compensate for the lift. thanks

Okay so all the Tundra Forums pretty much such big gonads. I need help no rush. I want to do a mid travel, but am unsure of where the height in the lift comes from. I want to stick with the 33s I have and I also plan to do some light offroading. I just need to know where the lift comes from. Wanting to go with the King 2.5 non adjust. I figured there is clearly more people here and a better place to ask this question. Info and critisicm is much appreciated (harsh and not harsh I'm mellow so I dont give a hoot).

So I have finally figured out what I want to do as far as lift goes. If it allows. BDS 4.5" lift with Kings on all four corners. Sounds like a winner to me.

Any comments, concerns, gripes(don't care) are greatly appreciated.

I picked up a '07 5.7 DC last week after selling my '05 Tacoma. I loved the Taco, but with 3 kids the Tundra better met my needs. So far I'm loving the hell out of it! This is my first full size truck, and the power of the 5.7 is ridiculous! Really just an all around better truck, although I'm still getting used to parking it. I ran across this article the other day, check it out. http://www.motoiq.com/projects/toyot...ta_tundra.aspx

I love mine too. Just not liking the 12.5 MPG that I have been getting so far driving around town but that number is just barely outside the listed mileage.

Good luck with the Tundra....

Thanks man. Mileage was my big concern when I purchased it, but so far I'm averaging 17.2, mostly highway. That's about what I was getting in the Tacoma. I just ordered these wheels and that's probably all I'm going to do to it for a while, with the exception of some new Bilstein 5100's.

Well one of my brothers got a ’11 tundra with the sr5 and trd off road 4wd. It’s white and has the big 5.7, has 20k on it. he traded his ’09 silverado that had little over 50k.

it’s the smaller double cab, not the big crew max or what ever.

edit: also we are now 100% toyota family! dad has a ’00 tundra, mom has a ’05 scion xb, oldest brother has a ’09 4 runner, now my other older brother has a ’11 tundra than I have my taco.
