2005 Toyota Tundra LIFT AND TIRES

    A good friend of mine has a 2005 Toyota Tundra double cab 2wd that he is wanting to lift. He has put me in charge of getting everything together for him. He is going to go with a 3" lift and was wanting to know what the right tire size to go with. I'm thinking a 285/70/17 would be good on it. And does anyone know if you can buy just the Eibach coils like you can for Tacoma's? If Toytec doesn't sell just the coils, he is going to go with the Toytec ULC.... And does anybody have any pictures of a 1st gen double cab Tundra with a 3" lift and 285/70/17's?

    Sad to see there was no replies to this... This is what I am wanting to do to my 05 Double cab as well... Not wanting too go too crazy and still be able to fit in parking structures... any help or pics?

    The first good option is a set of Bilstein 5100s, which will provide about 2.5" of lift. I recommend not going beyond 2.5" anyway. Then the next option is a set of coilovers. Toytech, Icon, Radflo. They are all fully adjustable for ride height up to 3" max (2.5" recommended.) Most people are going to run a 285/75R16.
