Old Man Emu Coils on a First Gen Tundra

    I have been reading on one of the Tundra forums where guys are running 886 coils on the bottom perch of Tundra 5100s. They are gaining anywhere from 3.5"-4" lift. Seems like a lot of Tundra guys like the nose high look.

    I was wondering if this was about what a Tacoma would expect to see without the added weight of a bumper and/or skids?

    I want to try and find an Old Man Emu coil that will give me between 2.5"-3" lift max...

    Any ideas, opinions, or actual results???

    3" OME lift 885s & Dakars riding on 33" KM2s
    I don't have a Tundy but do have OME 885s & Dakars.
    If 886s are too much step down to 885s.
    885s gave me 3" on my 4Banger AC and gave OZ 2.5" on his V6 DCLB.
    If the 885s don't give you enough lift you can add a spacer (remember a spacer gives you twice it's thickness in lift so .25" = .5").

    For future information in this thread:

    I have installed 884s at .65" on Tundy 5100s and gained 2.5" of lift. That in the front, coupled with rear 5100s and a ToyTec 1.5" TSB AAL for the 2nd Gen Tacoma left me with 1" of rake. The ride is great and didn't require upper control arms for the alignment.
