Idk why every brand is just splooging chrome all over the front end of their trucks now. It just looks like a wall of cheap shiny crap imo... It looks like they just stuck Canadian Tire chrome all over it.

I actually don't mind that Corrolla though. They used to look and feel so boring and plain. It would make a good daily driver if you don't care about cars and just want a A to B car on a budget but now it's more sporty looking and hopefully performs better too.

It's nothing new. The 90s Chevy trucks had gaudy plastichrome grilles too.

Paint gets chipped from road debris. 3M stick-on "coating" presents issues in the event of a repaint, and you can always see the edge.
Plasti-chrome is cheap, holds up to rocks better than paint, and is easy and cheap (relatively) to replace when it gets messed up.

Not that I agree with it... I hate the look... but that's "why"

Meh... It's ok. I like the old one better but like anything it will probably grow on you over time.

I was looking at buying a new one last week and just could not get over the ugliness. It really is a shame that they took a decent truck and ruined it.

The Corolla looks like a$$!!!! I don't like the Tundra either, it needs to look meaner, like the Tacoma! On the other hand, I do like the new Camry's...[IMG]

all that chrome and shit is so that it can compete with the american trucks which usually come with chrome out the ass.

yeah im a tacoma guy but gonna start saving money to get me either a 2015 tacoma (hoping the redesign will be beast) or that 1794 edition which is to compete with the dodge LARIAT and fords KING RANCH

Waiting for the Red ligts going back and forth like Knight Riders Kit. That might make it worth it but other than that its a hell no for me.

I saw the new tundra today in person for the first time. And I thought the pictures were bad... :puke: Toyota designers must have been :rasta: when designing this thing.

Fugly, though it will be worth putting up with for the HP boost.

I will say it could make for an interesting install for a Rigid LED light bar.

The Ram pulls off the big grill, thats it, nobody else.
If the damn grill didn't take up 95% of the front end, it would be a good looking truck.

I think the color matched one on the 1794 edition looks great, but the chrome one is a little too much. The interior looks pretty good though.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
the second gen tundra looks like it was blown up with an air hose to me, the 2.5 gen (its what i just decided the "all new" tundra is) looks like they took the last tundra and put it in a small room before pumping MORE air into it, then froze it. Now we have a more squared out version of the most obese half ton, with an odd swollen nose..

If trucks have feelings, that tundra is going to be bitter all its life.

The corolla i like from some angles, but most i cant tell which parent had the dominant gene Kia or Dodge dart. I hope that what could possibly be the retarded and crossbred offspring of a secret love triangle of stupid, inherited the old corolla's long lived reliability and good mpg.. Who knows maybe it got a small amount of the sporty-ish back... either way its a car, a cheap car... and its not an FRS, so i am really not interested in personally owning one.

    Ehrmahgerd! Skewper!!!

    :D

I dunno. It'd have potential if the scoop was functional. But looking at the photo of the open hood, it looks like the radiator'd get in the way of even fabbing something up for a ram air...
Dunno. I guess I'll have to see it in person.
