    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Check the frame. Had the same frame rotting issues as the Tacoma. Also very shity mpgs.

Really? My '05 was fine. I sold it in 2011, though, so maybe not long enough to see any major problems.

checked it out underneath no frame issues. The only thing is I can't tell if the engine has had the timing belt serviced, doesn't look like it has ever been taken apart. No service schedule available on it. Other than that it was a clean truck. Rode and drove great.

Just traded my '01 Tacoma for an '06 Tundra. I will miss he Taco but sure like everything I gained with the Tundra. Size, power, room etc...

Would be tough for me to go back now and would do the same trade in a heartbeat again.

I owned an '02. Great interior, great ride, lots of room over the Tacoma. Shitty gas milage. I get the same mpg with my '08 Tundra 5.7.

The '02's were still using the 340C transmissions, the same tranny as the Tacoma's. The transmissions were kinda on the weak side for that truck. They work fine as long as you do not tow in OD. I made the mistake and toasted the tranny. The truck was able to tow the loads just fine, but the transissions could not handle it in the long run.

Other than that, I think the interior is superior to my '08.
