I think that would work fine.........I have the long headers,stock y pipe and catback exhaust. like Gadget said, as long as you keep 2 cats in line you should be alright.

for me personally, I would go with the headers, but putting just the y pipe would still give some good gains. I tried different setups and finally got it where I want it. DTLH, stock y pipe, Vibrant resonator, Gibson catback. Tried resonator with pipebomb, still a little raspy. When I have some time, going to cut off pipe bomb resonators and weld in 2 stock cats.....should be good with no rasp..........finding the right exhaust note can be expensive, so take your time and research this site!!!
