I just got this rubber coating from 3m through http://www.automatcentral.com/rubber-coating-spray.html. I was a little skeptical that it would be the next plastidip, I thought wrong.

So when I was using it the can was very high pressured which I liked. I put 2 coats on the front and back bumpers and only used about 3/4 of a can. The only thing was when I was spraying it, it stunk, leading me to question if it is worth it to use it to soundproof your car. However, I am planning on using it to sound proof the metal around the sub box I am eventually going to get. Overall I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to my friends.

Why do people plastidip? To protect from rusting or just to get that all black look?

plastidip you can peel off and its really easy to do, no sanding priming painting.

Will it stop the squeaky leaf spring noise; spraying it between each leaf?
