your first mistake was offering to sell them locally for him, not your responsibility.
he should be the one looking for a buyer in Hawaii or cover the cost of return shipping.
maybe if his mistakes hit him in his wallet he'll make less mistakes.

Just like everyone else said... You should have shipped them back, He said he was willing to fix his mistake. I know that you were just trying to help but If that was my product and I was faced with the same situation as Eric I would have deffenantly waited to get the sliders or money before I sent out the right ones. Good luck, I hope everything falls into place for you.

"Bashing members is prohibited." He didn't need to post three separate threads on the same subject. That would be considered "bashing," I didn't say specifically a personal attack.

I do agree that was unnecessary but still not considered bashing. Now If I called you a dumbass, that would be bashing.

    Edit: and a personal attack

My gawd Sassy I finally agree with one of your posts...amazing.

I'm with the OP, send him what he paid for and ordered. Vender made the mistake, eat it and show what a really good business you are.

The customer is the one who's out the money, his time and the product, big deal if he has the other one he can't use.

If it were my business, I'd be all over making it right. So many people up in the OP's grill talking about being grateful for a great product, who cares if he doesn't get the product and the service sucks big...if I saw more stories like this I'd be second guessing making a purchase from them too despite how wonderful the product was. Wouldn't be the first time I didn't patron a business who was doing the wrong thing.

Sounds like Eric is fixing the mistake.
PMs would have been a better way to get this resolved.
