    Not to :stirthepot: but you offered to sell it, and if he sent you a pair of sliders before you sold it and gave him the money, he just mailed out a free pair of sliders.

    Easiest way to fix this would be to have them shipped back on Eric's dime.

    I think you should stop complaining when the guy is happily fixing his mistake, no vendor is gonna send you TWO sets of sliders when you have only paid for one set. If it was me I would be doing the exact same thing he is doing now. Just because you got the wrong set doesnt mean he should send you a second set for free. Sell the first ones, get him the money (which would be NO loss to your own wallet) then you will get what you originally paid for. Pretty simple to me...

    I saw your listing on Craig's and would probably help you out but I have an 06 double cab so a no go for me. Sorry to hear about the experience but your going up against a pretty reputable distributor. Either way your POV is correct and would feel the same if I was in your position. Good Luck

    Although they agreed on selling the first set, that's a responsibility and time that the OP doesnt need to deal with.

    Have the sliders shipped back, and when he sends you your sliders, show your appreciation for his extremely well built product.

    Your right except for the fact the he (Jamey) said he would send them back via Fastenal. It's not the consumers job to sell other peoples product when they Jack up an order and clearly admit to it. That just sounds stupid.:cool:

    This. From what I have read so far, it just sounds like eric has some common sense. Just be grateful he was willing to fix his mistake at no charge to you. As far as I can tell he is still the one losing money in this deal probably yet he is the bad guy?

    The OP is on a island in the middle of the ocean, where not too many people are looking for sliders... Could be months before they sell.

    Seems like a bad decision to have you sell them.

    which is obviously most appealing for someone shipping to Hawaii...


    if Jamey would have told him "hey you know i can't sell these locally can we just ship them back." I am sure it would have worked out. but he offered it, and relentless took him up on it.

    Then eric can just consider having them shipped back and selling them himself, either way I wouldn't be sending out a free pair of sliders to someone. I would just be grateful I am getting my order fixed and not complain when I don't get a second set for free.

    This. Send them back to him and get what you paid for. It's his fault he sent you the wrong item so he should have to deal with the fallout. They make a great product so I'm sure once you get the right ones you'll be a happy customer.
