    I think he's at a point where he doesn't have enough volume & revenue to be able to cut his losses and front the money to start over with a new vendor and chase down bad money later- I know he's fighting this with the LEDs.

    he called me today & said the vendor went MIA three weeks ago and still owes him 10 lights plus the three that have to be returned for me, & he's trying to just get a refund so he can pay another vendor for them but can't move till one or the other happens
    Also said he's swamped as usual with 30 voicemails and a mountain of messages to wade through..

    He really must have pissed off the mods here, seeing as he's not a vendor though so many of us love his work. I bet if he were to become a vendor here it'd push his volume high enough to make some major changes & keep him working metal instead of a keyboard and office phone.

    Or maybe it'd compound the problems tenfold.

    He's also going on vacation for two weeks soon so if you've got calls to make, pick up the phone now.

    I ordered the high clearance rear bumper with a swing gate in late may and asked if he could have I shipped by July 24th. He thought he could make that happen. Got a call from him yesterday he told me my bumper was all tacked up and will be shipped out tomorrow! Right on time! He has been great to work with and I can't wait to see the bumper. Thanks billy!

    I actually looked at your build before and I like it. It's a direction that I'm going with my truck. As I'm looking at your build even before I notice that you have a front bumper reinforce plate which I don't have. I think Billy forgot to send it to me.

    Good news: I just finish talking with Billy and it looks that in 2 week he will have a guy, working for him. His wife it might do the paper work and he is planning of buying a laser machine. Which means that in about 2 months everything will run much better.
    p.s. He just got the reinforcement plate , they should be shipped shortly.

    You are a much better welder than I, sir.. I'm ashamed to even post up the pics of my welding I've got the same sliders. They've held up fine & you can beat the hell out of em they're solid.

    Badass! Damn good to hear.
    Now why isn't he a damn vendor on tw?!

    Billy called me today in response to this thread and the plates. He explained the whole mess to me - his cutter is a slacker, but he's not quite at the point of buying a plasma cutter. He got super busy (quality work will make that happen) and missed a few emails in the shuffle. Not a big deal. Ultimately, he said he forced his cutter to cough up his pre-paid steel, promised my plates ASAP, and offered my money back on them due to the wait. Solid service - he wants folks to be happy.

    Billy is a super good guy, and Brute Force is having some growing pains as a small company. He completely restored my faith in Brute Force today - I'm going to buy a rear bumper from him for sure.

    Let's not drag an honest guy down because he'd rather weld up a bunch of sick bumpers over typing a bunch of emails and PMs.
