I ordered my complete OME lift from Toytec, bought all the "little" extras in an event to do my lift right from the start. Ordered just over $1,500.00 worth of merchandise from them, and included in this is the $26.00 stone guards for the rear shocks. During the install, myself and the ASE certified friend that helped me do it, noticed the stone guards did not fit the same on both sides, and the small flange at the bottom which looks like it was designed to give side protection to the lower mounting bolts, lined up on one side but not the other. We decided to not use them and I would send them back. Just got off the phone with toytec customer service and they will not refund the stone guards. I find this odd after spending so much they will not refund a mere 26 bucks! I guess my point is to be certain what you order since they are not very lenient on the return policy and I will certainly pick a more customer friendly company to do business with in the future.

From their website's warranty and refund policy page. I understand that many companies will go out of their way, especially for only $26 to keep the relationship with the customer, but they don't have to.

With a 15% restocking fee, and shipping fees on the buyer's dime, $26 will be reduced to a refund that isn't worth the hassle. Just my .02

ahhhh those. I have seen them before. I see no real world uses in my region for them, but I'm sure they have some use for someone somewhere.

They look like they should be handed (LT /RT).

They would not take them back because they were "used" (I installed and then removed them).

I thought of that, really nothing else to buy, maybe wheel spacers! lol but not from them!

It has been less than 30 days, but I guess they really needed the 26 bucks. So I'll stick them in the garage and move on and not return to the toytec website!

Have a mod move this under ToyTec's vendor page. That way maybe they'll see it.

This thread is also in the completely wrong spot. Should be under Toytech Reviews not 2nd gen since Toytech is a vendor here. PM a mod to have it placed in the correct spot.

If that doesn't work.......Hit up Toytechs facebook page with your issues. That always seems to work.

If neither of those two work contact ARB US and let them know their vendor isn't helping with their product.

In the end I think some info is being left out by the OP, but we shall see what Toytech says since I just sent them a PM with the link to this thread in it.

this is 2013, toytec should step up. negative press is not good for anyone,
and this does sound extremely cheeseball. for 1500, You should get the 26 dolla credit back asap.

    Mark,

I did try to help you resolve the issues by seeing if i could figure out why it would not fit. We have sold hundreds of these and i have personally installed a few of them myself. When i tried to help you troubleshoot the issues, you did not seem to want to bother and just wanted to send them back. Like it states in our return policy, we cannot accept back any installed parts since they are then considered a used part. If a part does not fit, we have to at least attempt to trouble shoot why not first. Since we are not in the used parts business, any part we sell that is used, whether it be a stone guard or a full suspension system, could be a liability on our part. Because of this, i can't do anything with the stone guards if you send them back.

With that said, I don't want anyone to be unhappy about purchasing from us. If you still do not want the stone guards, please ship them back to us and i will give you full credit for them.

Feel free to call me if you have any other questions
    My number is 303-255-4959 x103
    Thank you

Seems like Toytech customer service is A-OK to me. I sent them a PM and within a couple hours boom they respond and resolve OP's installation issues.

It's always nice to get both sides to the story. Now lets see if OP can post some pics of what doesn't fit right.

ive had bigger problems and they handled up on them good. I think your level of outrage over 26 bucks is somewhat high op.

This. There always seems to be that key "little" detail people leave out when they make these threads.
