I bought a Stubby antenna from cravenspeed.com on Oct 30, 2014. Received it on Nov. 6. Installed it, and the reception was terrible, and I live in the center of Denver. Local stations were fuzzy, couldn't pick up their HD sister stations, either. Tried to contact them TWICE to return it, NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS!

Stay away from this company. They don't stand behind their product. I'm currently in a dispute with them through American Express.

Save your money. A cheap Chinese knockoff is what I'm currently using, and it works much better than the Stubby by cravenspeed.com.

    Their website says:
    "The Stubby Just Works
You want to know about Stubby antenna reception? Our best advice is browse the reviews. Although some customers (usually in rural areas) have had problems getting perfect reception; it is really uncommon, and we always take returns if you are not satisfied with your Stubby."

But they don't reply to email if you want to make a return. That is my issue with them.

I knew a short antenna wouldn't be like a 3 foot long antenna, but being in a major metro area, I figured it would work alright. It doesn't.

There are a lot of places to spend our money, and companies that treat customers like they don't exist will not get my business or referral.

I bought a stubby from them, and I'm pretty sure it said right on the site it would probably suck. Mine isn't very good, but I expected it. I use bluetooth pandora most times anyway.

the issue is they won't respond to his emails so he can return it, not the product itself. sucks. hope they get back to you.

I had the same problem with mine on a Miata in Denver. Did not work at all for HD radio. It's just for looks.

I have a Stubby, read the reviews, knew it wouldn't work as well as a regular antenna, works fine in town, otherwise I use XM Radio. *shrug*
