Wheeler's steelies

Who's got em? Thinking about picking up a set to save on some wheels. I'm considering the "B" type, that has a 4" backspace. Will this clear the calipers fine? With tjis backspace, will I be able to clear a set of 285's with a 3 in lift up front?

I was thinking about getting these wheels too, but I think I'm gonna have to pass considering the weight. Gas is too expensive now and making my ride heavier would just kill my mpg

Both type A and B clear the caliper.

You think that weight would affect gas mileage that much?

285s would definitely work on these as far as not rubbing on the UCAs. it will however make you more prone to rubbing further out on the flares, body mount, and possibly towards the front bumper.

Was also considering the b type. I'm up I'm the air between 265/75R16 and 285/75R16. I don't care if it rubs fenders, just if it rubs the body mount.

I had the type A's a few years back. The type B's will clear as well.

Not much, but can be noticeable (1-2 mpg in city driving). The tire can make a bigger difference, though - the same tire model, same size, can vary by 15 lb between P-metric and LT construction.

There was a noticeable hit on mpg but not as much as 285's. Maybe 2 mpg at most.
