GorillaTec Winch Bumpers

Hello Everyone,
We're excited to bring you a new product for the Tacoma, built by a great US company -GorillaTec. Low Profile winch bumpers for those who don't want the hassle of the full aftermarket bumpers but still need a winch.

The base price is for bare steel(549.99), but they have all the Toyota color codes to match your rig. Add an extra 100$ for powdercoat.

Some specs:
* Low Profile 3/4 inch shackles

* Through welded shackles for strength and durability

* Drain ports

* Accepts a variety of winches up to 12,000 lbs.

* Internal gussets for extra rigidity

* AC line clearance (required for earlier models)

* Innovative design allows for increased airflow to radiator and to assist in drainage.

* Precision cut using the latest laser and waterjet process.

* Uses a standard 10 inch x 4.5 inch winch bolt pattern

* Designed and Manufactured in the U.S.A

* Powdercoat and LineX Available

I don't have these up on our site yet, be we can get them rolling. Here is a link to their site- www.gorillatec.com

(And YES, we can get you the targets too )

Thanks everyone. We are very excited to be working with Wheelers. We have spent over 2 years developing what we feel is the best option for the people who want to keep that factory appearance and still increase performance and capability.

Hey looks great! For me, a winch setup is next after tires.

Can I get some details on the install process? What needs to be cut out, if anything, and where it connects to the frame?

Thanks!

oh looks awesome! Think a 30" SR or E Series Rigid LED bar would fit on the top of the mount and below the bottom of the OEM bumper? Something like this:
Thanks!

Looks to be pretty straight forward. Remove plastic bumper piece, and there is an aluminum backing piece (which is actually the bumper), this steel version of the aluminum part replaces it completely. Looks like you have to cut the lower valiance out of the bumper completely (maybe you can get away with cutting the holes for the 3/4" recovery points without removing the valiance?) and it bolts to the factory spots where the aluminum piece bolts to much like the undercover winch.

Good idea but, you need to access the free spool handle as well, unless you want to open your hood every time and reach below the grill to do it (sometimes it gets jammed and is a pita to move).

Doubtful this is even going to happen now since the last time Gorillatec posted was back in April...

Ah good point... I'd think you could certainly fit a pair of D2's or 10" bars on either side of it though w/ a hinged license plate in the middle. Thoughts?
