So my wheels arrived at my buddies house to day! That was really fast! Anyways I'm excited and can't wait to return to the states. Now I just need to find some new tires for the taco and when I get home all I have to do is give her a little lift! These were well worth the wait!

I have a 1.5 spacer lift and running stock rims right now. I will have a set of bronze wheels coming soon. Will I be able run them with the current spacer lift with 275/65 tires with no problems? If not how much lift would I need to have no issues?

Any one the have 275/65/18 duratracs please chime in on the ride comfort of the smaller sidewall tire. I have them on my stock wheels now and love them.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear the wheels arrived quickly and safely. We hope that you arrive home just as quickly and safely too. :)

You'll likely have to remove the front mud flaps (and either trim them or keep them removed) and remove a small portion of the bottom of the front fender liner, as well as trim/shave down a small portion of the fender liner. These modifications are very simple, and the trimming is not noticeable once completed. Trimming is pretty much standard fare anytime you go with plus-sized wheels and tires on the new Tacomas - lifted or not.

As for your ride comfort - you're actually keeping practically the same sidewall height in comparison to stock Tacoma wheels and tires. Your ride quality should remain very similar to what you have right now.

I recieved my wheels in friday, now cant wait so I can go back home to put them on. I guess Being out of state will give me time to get tires and lift so all can go on when I do make it home. Thanks Dustin for the quick purchase and even quicker shipping.

THANKS DUSTIN!!! The wheels look great. The tires are P275/65/18 Hankook Dynapro ATm. No lift yet. I took off the front mudflaps and mini spoiler at the front of the fender liner and there is just a tiny bit of rubbing at full lock. Some pics are attached (please excuse the unpainted light bar -_-)

Thanks Dan! I'm really diggin' the matte bronze on black. What lift are you planning to install? I'm glad to hear there is only minimal rubbing even with the larger tires and no lift.

    Update 10/27/2012:

There is one set of 18x9" FN Wheels BFD matte bronze wheels in stock in 6x139.7 0mm offset (5" back spacing). The next shipment won't be for a couple of months, so contact me right away if you want this set!

I do still have a couple sets of graphite, a few sets of matte black, and one set of titanium silver available.

    Thanks everyone!

I'm going to go with 275/65/18 duratracs, I've had great experience with my first set. Got about 35k miles on them and still have half tread left.
Not sure what lift im going with, want the icon coils with the dakkar leaf set. Might just go with the OME 886 coils for extra weight of the bumper that will go on later.

Hehehe. Thank you my friend! :D Are you thinking about changing your "shoes?"

Cool! Good choices all around. You can't go wrong with either setup. I have Icons myself, but I'm a fan of OME too.

Finally had a chance to post some pictures of the BFD Wheel on my Tacoma. Transaction and coordination was phenomenal. If anyone should live near Southern LA or even in California, they should pay a visit to Dustin because it was well worth the drive to meet the MAN in person. The tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/65/18 with minor trimming on the inner fender liner. No rubbing detected at full turns. The first picture was a "before" picture. The rest are afterwards. Unfortunately, I had to put the wheels straight to work, but I must say, they are holding up! (of course they would). Not to mention the endless compliments of the wheels. Thanks Dustin!

Thank you my friend! It was a real pleasure to meet you guys!

I really like bronze on red, and I'm glad to hear that you went with the 285's. I think they look super aggressive. Excellent choices!

I'm glad to see your wheels are being put to good use too! :) Feel free to post more pics! We don't have enough photos of Barcelona Red.
